1. How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory
2. How deep the Father’s love for us, - Eph. 3:18
Reveal to us the measure. - Eph. 3:19
Thereby find fullness in Your Son, - Eph. 3:19
Show me the hidden treasure. - Eph. 1:18
His life was lost that I might gain! - 2 Cor. 5:21
The Father turns His face to me! - 2 Cor. 3:17-18, 4:3-6
I’m healed by Christ, the Risen One, - 1 Pet. 2:24
To live for His own glory! - 2 Thess. 1:11-12, Heb. 13:20-21
3. Behold the man upon a cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished
4. Behold the Man upon the Throne, - Eph. 1:16-23
Government He shoulders! - Isa. 9:6-7
So earth may hear the Christian voice, - Matt. 10:7-8, 28:18-20, Mk. 16:15-18
Proclaim it is not over! - Rom. 5:10, Php. 1:19-21, 2 Cor. 5:14-21, Rev. 2:26
In righteousness He sits up there, - Acts 2:34-36, 2 Tim. 4:1-2, Rev. Ch. 2-3
To will and to accomplish, - Php. 2:13, Col. 1:9-12
A law of Spirit and of Life; - Rom. 8:2-4
We know it is unfinished! - Rev. 21:6, 1 Pet. 1:5, Php. 2:12
5. I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
6. I will not boast in pow’r-less days, - 2 Thess. 1:11-12
In Christ is power and wisdom. - Eph. 1:19, 6:10, Col. 1:11, Acts 1:8
The gifts are ours in Jesus Christ, - Eph. 4:7-13
Through death and resurrection. - Eph. 4:20-24, Rom. 6:1-13
Why should I waste the Son’s reward, - Eph. 1:18, Matt. 25:14-30
And fail to give good answer, - Matt. 25:24-25
As God does search th' enlightened hearts, - Matt. 25:19, Rev. 2:2-5, 13-14, 19-20, 23, 3:1-5
Which owe because the ransom? - Matt. 25:14, 19, 27
7. How deep the Father’s love for us?
From Cross to Throne our answer!
Tis finished in truth - that right now,
Begins th' unfinished Kingdom!
We who for sins in-whole were sold,
Now cherish the Lord’s ransom,
So now in Christ our claims are bold,
To raise th’ eternal standard!
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory

Saints of God in Christ,
Let our burdens be deep, not shallow! Let us turn from "selfish Christianity" that is so pre-occupied with and paralyzed by a sinful satisfaction that ones own sins are forgiven (mere personal forgiveness) while backsliders and the world goes to hell! God forbid.
If we truly relish in the fact that we are forgiven, we would be broken and burdened for those who aren't.
Let our praise represent our prayers! Let us truly own the cause of Christ who is ALIVE - and let us never heart-lessly relate to Jesus as if He is dead! When was the last time you brushed shoulders with the glory of the Living Christ, dear saint? Are you too preoccupied by the imbalanced modern day mediation, all eyes pointing "to Calvary", so they say, while they are unknowingly worshiping a dead and irrelevant "christ"? Impossible. God forbid!
Should Christ be irrelevant to America?
Unheard by the remnant?
Unrecognized by Devils?
Unknown by sinners?
God forbid!
The atonement of Jesus Christ on the Cross is finished.
The Kingdom of Jesus Christ is unfinished.
Our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross is unfinished.
Our faith in the Living Christ who presently rules the Kingdom God is unfinished.
Therefore let us keep the faith and finish the race by LOOKING unto the Living Jesus Christ today and every day hence!
May the GRACE of the Lord Jesus Christ (undeserved acceptance for empowerment) be with you all! Amen and Amen.
