Creator, Savior, & Judge
By Sean Morris
Info:
In this sermon, Sean seeks to confront the consciences of the listeners (from many different backgrounds) with the truth of God's purpose in creation, salvation, and eternal judgment. Many people in this generation profess to be "Christians," and even seek to live their lives in a way that imitates the morality expressed by Christ in the Scriptures - but is this enough? Is God satisfied with outward morality and fleshly attempts to live righteously, while the heart remains fearfully and stubbornly rebellious to full surrender to the Lordship of Christ? Fearfully many lost souls are satisfied to have morality and "peace with God" (though it be false), but are they willing to be reconciled to God Himself, relinquishing what was originally His before the fall of man: full, sovereign Lordship, dominion, and possession of the thoughts, will, intentions, motivations, and desires of a man's heart? This indeed is true, saving conversion! Anything else will be tried and found on that Great and Terrible day as mere filthy rags (Isa. 64:6), worthy to be cast away and burned! O may God have mercy! Dear friend, please consider: have you been truly reconciled in heart to this biblical and glorious Christ who takes away the sin of the world!?
